And here i come with Monkey Majik! Hahaha gilaaaaa gw bener - bener jatuh hati sama grup ini! Awalnya ya cuma suka lagunya yang judulnya Change. Liriknya itu loh ngena banget, "you'll never change if you keep running away". Dan pas gw iseng ngulik ketemu lagu duet dia sama SMAP judulnya Around the world, dan ya gw suka lagi liriknya, "And you know it's gonna be raining, and you know it's gonna be hard, as long as we trust each other, nothing's gonna break apart". Dua lagu udah cocok sama hati gw maknanya terus nada musiknya gw suka, jadi ya gw penasaran apa sih Monkey Majik itu.

Monkey Majik is a rock band from Sendai consisting of two Japanese members and two Canadian members. The band comprises brothers Maynard and Blaise Plant, who sing in Japanese and play the guitar; drummer Takuya "tax" Kikuchi (菊池拓哉, Kikuchi Takuya), and bassist DICK. Their first release was an EP called TIRED, a self-financed release limited to 1,000 copies which was available at Tower Records in Sendai. Their first single was "fly" in 2006. It was a commercial success and was followed by their second single, "Around the World", which peaked at number 4 in the Japanese Oricon top 200 singles chart.

The band is named after a song by Godiego called "Monkey Magic". The Plant brothers hail from Canada, and they now reside in Sendai, Miyagi. Maynard Plant speaks Japanese fluently and came to Japan to teach English after graduating from Queen's University where he was president of the Alma Mater Society. Blaise was a solo musician in Canada before he moved to Japan.

Sebenernya dibilang grup ini merupakan campuran dua orang kanada dan orang jepang tetep aja bahasa jepangnya fasih. Apalagi yang jadi vokalis itu bukan yang asli jepang, tapi yang orang kanada. Gw suka aja sama warna lagunya. Musiknya, liriknya suka aja. Mungkin karena yang nyanyinya orang bule jadi lagu ini juga campur liriknya ada inggrisnya juga. Keren lah pokoknya ini grup. Fresh aja, gw ngerasa beda. Biar gw gak suka bule soalnya gak ganteng menurut gw (hehe) tetep aja ini grup tuh adalah keren. Musikalitasnya itu loh salut gw.
